This is for a portfolio than I am doing for AP Art. We have to do 13 pieces that show how versatile we are in subjects and mediums. Basically showing how far we can expand our abilities. We also have to do another 12 pieces that show a growth or progression in the pieces.
This is actually the second of the 12. The first one was late and had to be handed in immediately, but perhaps I shall post it once I get it back. Atlas is portrayed here in the form of a horse, the growth from the first piece is that horses are elegant, but here is shows strength and rather than showing their beauty this one plays on punishment as Atlas carries the earth around the sun in its orbit.
